stacy van dyken

I am a mother of two boys, Collin who is 10 and Colton who is 3.  I have moved back into Olney Mill to raise my boys just down the road from where I grew up. I have been an elementary school teacher with Montgomery County Public School for 13 years now. Within the county and my school I have held many leadership position and worked closely with the families in my school community to run events and get parents more involved in their child's education. I was born and raised here in Olney Mill. I attended Belmont ES, Rosa Parks MS, and Sherwood HS. When I was a kid I swam on the Olney Mill swim team, which my kids are involved in now. I am looking to bring a close sense of community and positive changes to the Olney Mill community.
